Description
The 250 LPH RO Plant is a robust and efficient water purification system designed to treat water containing dissolved solids, salts, suspended particles, sediments, and other unwanted contaminants. With a purification capacity of 250 litres per hour, it is suitable for businesses and institutions with moderate to high purified-water requirements.
The plant can incorporate multiple pre-treatment and purification stages, including sediment filtration, activated carbon filtration, micron filtration, and Reverse Osmosis membrane filtration. These stages help prepare the raw water before it enters the RO membrane, supporting efficient purification and protecting the downstream RO components.
The Reverse Osmosis membrane serves as the primary purification stage and helps reduce dissolved solids, salts, and other contaminants from the pre-treated water. Purified water can be stored in a dedicated water tank or supplied directly to the required application, depending on the plant configuration.
The 250 LPH RO Plant can be customized according to raw water quality, TDS level, hardness, iron content, required recovery rate, operating pressure, storage capacity, and application requirements. Additional pre-treatment systems such as multimedia filtration, activated carbon filtration, water softening, iron removal, or other treatment systems can be integrated where necessary.

How 250 LPH RO Plant Works
The raw water first passes through the pre-treatment stages. Sediment filtration helps reduce sand, dirt, suspended particles, and other physical impurities. Activated carbon filtration can help reduce chlorine, unwanted taste, and odour.
The pre-treated water then enters the Reverse Osmosis membrane, where dissolved solids, salts, and other dissolved contaminants are reduced. The purified water is collected in a suitable storage tank or supplied directly to the required point of use.
The RO reject water is managed through the plant’s reject-water arrangement. The actual recovery percentage depends on the raw-water quality, membrane configuration, operating conditions, and overall plant design.
